Mail Exchange records also known as MX Records are responsible for making sure emails are delivered to your business email addresses.
If you’re planning to use Gsuite or any other email service provider then you’re going to set up your domain MX records to the specific email service provider.

So what exactly does MX Records do?
MX records basically tell internet servers how to handle incoming and outgoing emails using your website domain. Let’s say you want to use Google’s Gsuite, you are going to be setting the records to run all your emails using Gmail’s server.
Before you begin here is an important note: you’re going to need the MX records from your business email provider and most of them send the records to your signup email address and some are at the final signup stage.

Changing MX Records Using Bluehost
If you’re using Bluehost as your domain name provider then follow the instructions below to easily set up the MX records for your domain name.
Login to your Bluehost account and head over to domain from left side bar. Once you see your domain name, click on the drop down and select DNS.
Once you do that a page will appears with details of your domain DNS.
Scroll down until you get to the MX record section.
Click on the 3 dotted line and you should be able to edit the record.
Do not forget to click on save after inputting your new MX records, now go a head and repeat the same steps for the second record and once that is done you should be able to see two MX records.
Changing MX Records Using SiteGround
If your domain name is managed by SiteGround, you can easily manage its MX records from your Site Tools > Domain > DNS Zone Editor.
On the tools page, select your domain name from the drop down and go to the MX tab and set up your records.
Click on create once you’re done and that’s it!
